在国家硅材料重点实验室光子材料研究室进行新型光电功能材料的理论研究和制备工作,主要内容为应用于基于LED白光固体照明用氮化物多晶粉末材料(荧光粉体系)和非晶态固体材料(玻璃体系)的研发。在这些发光材料中实现了大光谱范围内发光颜色的连续可调,并找到一些在商用紫色LED激发下能实现白光发射的玻璃类材料。

在国家稀土资源开发与利用重点实验室学习,从事稀土离子发光性能研究工作,侧重于稀土离子掺杂荧光粉在真空紫外光(指波长小于200nm的紫外范围)激发下的发光行为研究,应用于大平面等离子显示器(PDP)和三基色无汞荧光灯等新型显示、照明材料。
